Background
Controlling hydraulic power units regularly comes along in various appearances and applications, often integrating the customer-specific application with basic functionality.
Examples of applications include industrial machinery, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, transportation or maritime.
Challenge
Power packs are used in applications where environmental conditions place high demands on the robustness of the controller. High levels of availability are required.
Solution
Aggregates are equipped with different manufactured diesel engines, communication with the engines is based on the J1939 protocol over CAN. The generators are built in different power ratings, with the heaviest version being equipped with two diesel engines of 1250hp total power. The controls are equipped with different operating levels, to which user rights are linked. Many controllers can be operated and serviced remotely.
