Background

A process controller for preparing various types of sauces. The industrial preparation of sauces is a complex process that requires careful control to ensure consistency and quality.

The process includes cooking, mixing, thickening, cooling and filling. Throughout the process, the production process is closely monitored and regulated through the process controller.

Challenge

Hygiene requirements must be taken into account in the design, and the installation must be cleaned automatically using a CIP unit. Both manual and automatic dosing, combined with a clear control of the process.

Solution

The control system consists of one main panel with multiple field panels, control panels and SCADA with a link to ERP. The plant is built according to the HACCP hygiene code and consists of two boiling tanks, three cooling tanks and CIP cleaning. The plant is equipped with a number of automatic dosing units. Other components are dosed manually in advance by the operator. Through a control panel, the moment of dosing is displayed and then confirmed. The finished product is filled into containers.
