Background
A multifunctional and fully automatic machine for various tasks in the nursery, including top pruning, root ball cutting, planting hole drilling, row fertilizing, nematode injection, plant pressing and capping.
The machine is characterized by innovativeness, reliability, smart functionalities, precision and customization. In addition to the modular concept, customer-specific customization is often involved.
Challenge
The individual pruning/pitching units must independently synchronize accurately with the speed of the vehicle. Deviations are immediately visible in the pruning image or damage the stabbing units.
Solution
An automatic machine that picks lumps of planting material in the open ground. The machine can also be equipped with pruning units for cutting bulbs or cones. By means of a synchronous control system, the machine can be driven over the field at a constant speed, while several cutting or pruning units operate autonomously. In addition to the single version, the machine can be supplied as a triple and five-unit model. To this end, the control software is flexibly implemented on the basis of mobile control components.
