Building blocks at all levels
Because we work on the basis of multidisciplinary project teams, the basis for system integration is always laid from the Service Department with cost-oriented project management and customer discussions. Under the direction of a project leader, the Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Assembly departments work together purposefully. The moment platforms are also integrated into the project scope, the R&D department is also involved.
Our systems integration processes deliver complex product systems consisting of platforms and a variety of building blocks in both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). Because at RIWO all control disciplines are housed under one roof, communication, coordination and cooperation between different areas of expertise is facilitated. As a result, complex product systems can be developed, integrated and managed more efficiently.
Systems Engineering
The Systems Engineering department is responsible for ensuring that project teams can actually build and implement product systems. Our Systems Engineers spearhead the technical coordination for designing, analyzing, documenting and managing complex product systems throughout their life cycle.
Controls Engineering
Software forms the heart of an industrial installation, it is customized for each project by our engineers using generic building blocks in combination with customer-specific customization. Our working method ensures that the software has a fixed structure and is easy to read. This reduces the risk of errors during commissioning and the implementation of changes. It also gives us the possibility to support an on-site service engineer by phone in case of failures in such a way that the number of failure visits by specialist controls engineers is minimized.
Hardware Engineering
Hardware engineering is performed by our close-knit and enthusiastic team, with great knowledge and extensive experience in the field of industrial installations. The package of requirements drawn up in close consultation with you is processed with Eplan P8 into a package of drawings. This design makes use of the latest techniques. Engineering can be carried out according to RIWO building blocks or according to your own specifications. This of course according to the latest standards and guidelines.
Assembly
In our excellently equipped workshop we build both series and single-piece control panels. We build panels for industrial installations from standard sheet steel, stainless steel and/or plastic in any desired shape, design size and/or color.
Our industrial mechanics take care of setting up panels, installation parts, cabling, connecting and testing both at home and abroad. Knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, rules and regulations coupled with our professional project organization guarantee a perfect delivery of safe and user-friendly installations.
