Account Manager / Business Development Manager

Industrial Innovation, AI, robotics, machine control, electrification? At RIWO, we do it all. The Project Management team is responsible for selling and managing automation projects of industrial systems.

To increase our focus on sales, we are looking for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for expanding our project portfolio with existing and with new customers.

Your mission

Your mission within RIWO is to ensure that as a company we are allowed to work on the most challenging and diverse projects. You do this by attracting new clients and maintaining existing client relationships in cooperation with the project managers. Your responsibilities include making a market scan, coming up with creative ideas for approaching leads and producing and sending out quotations.

You don't do that alone. The project management team consists of 6 team members. You will be our first full-time account manager, though. So we will give you a lot of freedom to develop account management within RIWO. 

Responsibilities

  • Independently expand client portfolio through acquisition and relationship management;
  • Represent RIWO in client meetings and at events;
  • Working with the project manager and/or systems engineer to advise new and existing customers on their industrial automation needs;
  • Develop sales plan and associate account plans to promote portfolio growth.

Our clients are primarily based in the Netherlands.

Who are we looking for?

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Have experience in a commercial position in our market segment;
  • Have a college level of work and thinking;
  • Have an affinity for engineering;
  • Like to be out and about on your way to (potential) customers;
  • Do not have a 9 to 5 mentality and are willing to work occasional evening and weekend hours;
  • Proficient in the Dutch, English and German languages.
