As a Hardware Engineer at RIWO you are part of the team that designs industrial control solutions for our customer. Together with colleagues from the controls and assembly department, you will provide a solution that takes our client forward.
The controls you design are for industrial machines, mobile machines and process plants. These include industrial bakeries, biogas plants, specific water treatment plants, robots / AGVs and (special) production machines.
Your mission
Your mission is to design industrial controls that comply with applicable laws and regulations. For this we like to call on your knowledge and experience, but you can also spar with colleagues from the team. We use modern tooling such as EPLAN P8 and like to get the most out of it. After the design is ready, you digitally transfer the bill of materials to your colleagues in the business office. They take care of the purchasing. The assembly department starts working with your design. Of course you look over their shoulder from time to time. Through short lines of communication, together we strive to provide our customers with the best control solutions. How beautiful is it to see your design in practice with a satisfied customer!
Responsibilities
- You will develop switchboards and electrical controls for industrial solutions with EPLAN P8;
- You are involved in devising the solutions during the design phase;
- You document the design in the technical construction file with RiTerm and Sistema, among others;
- You will communicate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the development, assembly and installation of controls runs as smoothly as possible.
Who are we looking for?
What you bring:
- A completed HBO or MBO education towards Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics;
- Interest/experience with modern industrial components and applicable laws and regulations of the European and American markets;
- You know the ins and outs of the program EPLAN P8 and enjoy exploiting all the possibilities of the package;
- Good analytical ability; you know where the problem lies and can identify and solve the cause of it;
- You can communicate your ideas and thoughts well to others;
- Affinity for project and process-based work;
- You are driven to raise the quality of controls a little bit each time and get satisfaction when you have brought a project to a successful conclusion;
- Mastery of the Dutch language.
