To manage this we are looking for a Manager Service & Maintenance. Within this role you are a culture carrier in the field of service-oriented thinking and you take your colleagues along in this.

Your mission

As Manager Service & Maintenance, you promote a service-oriented culture and ensure adequate capacity and competencies. You manage service contracts, optimize processes and stimulate knowledge sharing. Because you seek cooperation with project leaders, you ensure a smooth transfer of completed projects to the service department, which guarantees consistent service. Your department is responsible for the release of new system versions, this requires careful planning and coordination to ensure operational continuity for our customers. Together we strive for improvements, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and support the Service Engineering Department, ensuring adequate capacity, proper competencies and training of employees, and the required budget and resources;
  • Assign team members to projects and maintenance tasks, and determine task owners for effective handover and execution;
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining service contracts with customers;
  • Structure and optimize service processes and procedures;
  • Solution-oriented thinking and action when outages or customer queries occur, with a focus on high service levels and availability of systems;
  • Stimulate knowledge building and sharing within the department and towards other departments, especially in the case of breakdowns, and preparing improvement proposals.

Who are we looking for?

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • At least possesses HBO or WO knowledge and thinking level;
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in the field or a similar role;
  • Strong verbal communication skills and understanding of verbal and nonverbal communication;
  • Situational leadership, focusing on coaching, employee development and motivation;
  • Demonstrates proactivity and takes initiative in identifying and addressing problems;
  • Mastery of the Dutch language.
