To manage the team, the mutual cooperation and the cooperation with other teams, we are looking for a Team Leader Controls Engineering. You will be the point of contact for the Controls Engineers: you will support and develop the colleagues of this team.

Your mission

Getting the best out of your people will be your mission at RIWO. That's not a dead giveaway, this is where you give practical substance. As team leader you are responsible for managing the Controls Engineering team. This consists of a team of motivated technicians with different backgrounds and experiences. Therefore, it is nice that you too have a technical background, so you understand what the engineers are working on.

Together with the project leader, you determine which engineer will participate in which project. During the project you stand next to your people with an active attitude, coaching them and giving advice and support.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and support the Controls Engineering Department, ensuring adequate capacity, proper competencies and training of employees, and the required budget and resources;
  • Assign team members to projects and maintenance tasks, and determine task owners for effective handover and execution;
  • Establish and optimize processes and procedures;
  • Achieving departmental goals as you have established them in the annual plan;
  • You will report to the MT.

Who are we looking for?

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Have completed a technical college education;
  • Have at least 5 years of work experience in a managerial position;
  • Have an affinity for project and process work;
  • Thinks and acts in solutions and supports your team in doing so;
  • Gets satisfaction from coaching, developing and motivating employees (situational leadership);
  • Mastery of the Dutch language.
