Assembly

Reliably switched

As an assembler at RIWO , you are part of the team that builds and assembles industrial control solutions for our customers. Together with colleagues from Controls Engineering and Hardware Engineering, you will provide a solution that takes our customer forward.

The solutions you assembled are used for industrial machines, mobile machines and process plants, among others. Here you can think of industrial bakeries, biogas plants, robots, AGVs or production machines.

Our Department

Your mission is to assemble industrial controls that comply with the applicable laws and regulations. For this we like to call on your knowledge and experience, but you can also spar with colleagues. During your work, a hardware Engineer will be looking over your shoulder. Together we strive to provide our customers with optimal control solutions. Eventually you will see the control panels you assembled being used in practice in various industrial product systems.

Teamwork

Our team currently consists of 17 colleagues, managed by our team leader Frank. Together we ensure that high-quality panels are built and that they are put into use to the full satisfaction of the customer. We do this from start to finish. Where possible, you build the panel (or panels) yourself and are then also involved in the wiring and commissioning.

What will you do?

As a Mechanic E&I you will be working with panel building and cabling for machines and systems supplied by our customers worldwide. One day you are assembling panels at RIWO , a day later you are in the bakery (production lines) or in biogas plants for field assembly. We build the panels in our workshop in Oldenzaal. After testing you will, together with a colleague (or in a larger project with several colleagues), install the panels. For some customers, we do this ourselves at RIWO , but you also regularly go out to the customer.

Everything under control

In consultation with our colleagues from project management and hardware engineering, our department takes care of the work preparation for the production of control panels and field assemblies. And that's nice, short lines and in control yourself!

Quality

Because quality is of paramount importance to us, our department itself organizes the final checks of control sets. When completing field assemblies, we organize the IO test ourselves and transfer the system to our colleagues from Controls Engineering. They can then commission the system smoothly.
